Team spirit wins at Sundown Car Rally

The Sundown Car Rally ended at 9 o’clock when all 30 cars returned to Sembawang Park. The participants enjoyed a sumptuous dinner at Beaulieu House restaurant overlooking the scenic Johor Straits, together with officials from the Land Transport Authority as well as staff from the ONE MOTORING portal and prize sponsors.

Prizes for lucky draws as well as for the three top-scoring teams were given out. Ultimately, the rally was not about speed but a combination of navigation and steering skills that required all members of the team to work together. As overall winner Jeffrey Chew pointed out, his wife and son served as navigators to keep him driving in the right direction.

First runner-up Team 34 Young Soon Kou (left) and family. They win $500 shopping voucher, 3M products and the Garmin-Asus A10 navigation smartphone.

Second runner-up Team 14 Alvin Ong and Karen Chng win a $250 shopping voucher and Garmin-Asus A10 navigation smartphone.
