Description

This service allows you to enquire about the transfer fee payable using the vehicle registration number and intended date of transfer of ownership.

Notes:

1. You can only ask for information for one vehicle at any one time.
2. If your intended date of transfer is after your vehicle's statutory lifespan expiry date, there will not be any transfer fee information.
3. If your intended date of transfer is within the first 3 months of the first registration date of the vehicle*, there will not be any transfer fee information. This is because the vehicle* is not allowed to be transferred within the first 3 months after the first registration date of vehicle*.
4. There will be an additional levy if your intended date of transfer is between 4 and 6 months of the first registration date of vehicle*.
5. There will be a surcharge (if applicable) for imported vehicle during the first transfer.

Step-by-Step Guide

1. Key in the Vehicle Registration Number and Intended Date of Transfer of Ownership. Please note that Intended Date of Transfer must be a day from today onwards.
2. Ensure all entries are accurate and complete before clicking on the 'Search' button.
3. Transfer fee information will be displayed if record is found.
4. If record is not found, a message: "Record not found. Please check your entry." will be displayed
5. Click on the 'New Search' button to make another enquiry.
