Transaction PIN & User Account

Driving Into & Out Of Singapore

Apply for a Transaction PIN at LTA office.

• Complete an application form for Transaction PIN
• Submit the relevant identification documents required. Click here for the list of identification documents. Please note that this list of identification documents will also apply to de-register a vehicle at LTA counters if no prior on-line application for PIN was made.

Apply online to de-register a vehicle with your Transaction PIN. The online application is only valid for 5 days. If the vehicle is not de-registered within that time, a fresh application is required.

Complete de-registration application form.

To send vehicle to authorized scrapyard or EPZ with:

• Completed and signed application form D01
• Original NRIC (Singaporean, Singapore PR and Malaysian) or Passport (foreigner other than a Malaysian) of the submitter/third party
• Authorisation letter from Vehicle owner authorizing third party to effect de-registration of vehicle, if applicable.

To de-register the vehicle at LTA counter with:

• Completed and signed application form D01
• Cargo Clearance Permit (CCP), issued by Singapore Customs (Tel:6355 2000, formerly International Enterprise Singapore), with Vehicle Registration, Engine and Chassis Numbers, clearly indicated and Singapore Customs' endorsement (where applicable); and

• Original non-negotiable copy of the Bill of Lading issued and duly endorsed by a recognised shipping line/ company with satisfactory proof that the vehicle had been laden on board and the vessel's sailing date. The Bill of Lading shall contain the following details:

- Exporter details;
- Vessel / Voyage Number;
- Port Of Discharge / Destination;
- Container / Seal Number (for vehicles stored in container);
- Engine and Chassis Numbers of vehicle being exported;
- Date vehicle is shipped / loaded on board the vessel; and
- Actual date of departure; or

• Foreign re-registration document.

Outstanding road tax arrears, if any.

Completed application form to retain a vehicle registration number (if applicable), NRIC or Passport (foreigner other than Malaysian) of the owner and retention fee of $100.
