To renew your road tax at any of LTA authorised Road Tax Collection Centres, you need to produce originals of these documents:
Road tax renewal notice (Note: If you are unable to produce the renewal notice, a validated road tax disc will not be issued on the spot. Instead, the disc will be sent to the vehicle owner by post upon successful road tax renewal).
Certificate of insurance or cover note (Note: Insurance policy, insurance payment schedule, insurance renewal notice, insurance premium payment receipt or photocopy of insurance certificate/cover note is not acceptable).
Inspection certificate (if applicable).
Number plate inspection certificate (if your vehicle is a Weekend/Off-Peak Car).
Vehicle parking certificate (if your vehicle is a heavy vehicle exceeding 5,000kg MLW, bus with seating capacity exceeding 15 passengers, trailer or mobile crane and recovery vehicle exceeding 2,500kg ULW).
To renew your road tax online at this portal, AXS Stations or iNETS Kiosks, you need to:
Ensure that all the renewal pre-requisites are fulfilled at least 3 working days in advance.
If your vehicle is on the road tax GIRO payment arrangement, you need to:
Ensure that all the renewal pre-requisites are fulfilled by the deadline indicated in your GIRO payment schedule.
Ensure that there is sufficient fund in the bank account on the GIRO deduction date.
