Slated for a world debut in Geneva March 2006, the Captiva is Chevrolet's new SUV. Retaining strong design cues from the 2004 Paris Motor Show SX3 concept, the Captiva seeks to offer style, spaciousness and utility. Available with either five or seven-seater versions, there will also be a choice of front or all-wheel-drive variants.
It's also the first Chevrolet in the European range to be fitted with ESP. Besides the 2.0-litre diesel, there will be a 2.4-litre four-cylinder petrol version pushing out a healthy 140bhp.
