The second most powerful Porsche homologated for road use is now the Cayenne Turbo S. The V8 twin-turbo engine now has 521bhp and 720Nm of torque. Top speed is 270km/h with the century sprint clocked in 5.2 seconds. It now has modified intercoolers for the turbochargers, which can now effectively running on a higher boost. High-performance braking is essential and so the S gets larger discs and callipers, together with a tyre pressure control system as standard. To distinguish itself from 'lesser Cayennes', the Turbo S uses 20-inch SportTechno design alloy wheels, four exhaust tailpipes, a model designation at the rear and, if ordered by the customer, paintwork in Navy Blue Metallic, which is exclusive to this model. |
