Parking labels/ Season Parking
There are basically 2 types of carparks: URA or private carparks. Carpark labels should be displayed prominently in the front of the car windscreen
URA
Under the season parking scheme, motorists issued with a season parking ticket for a designated URA car park(s) are allowed to park at the car park any time without the need to display parking coupons. It is recommended that the parking label is displayed prominently in the front of the car windscreen. For residential areas, each eligible household would be entitled to one ticket. Commercial rates would applied if more than one ticket is needed. For non-residential areas, the carparks could be restricted to nearby tenants/ residents or for some, open to public. For more information on which carparks are open to public, click here
For carparks under URA, only a limited number of season parking tickets would be offered, depending on the capacity of the carpark and short-term parking needs. Season parking tickets are therefore issued on a first-come-first-served basis. Once the season parking tickets are sold out, applicants will be put on a waiting list and offered the season parking tickets as and when these become available.

Parking Coupons
Parking coupons are usually used at URA/HDB carparks and the denominations for the parking coupons range from $0.50 to $300. You need to look at the carpark signages to look how much to pay for the usage (Usually it is by a hourly basis). Be sure of parking at the correct parking slots (there are some slots that are unavailable and marked in red) and place coupons prominently on the front windscreen or window on the driver?s side.
