You have read about cases of road structures being hit by over-height vehicles. The injured driver or passenger will be sent to the hospital but how about the "bruised" road structures?

Patching the damaged area with cement or epoxy mortar, or |

Steps of Road Structure in Repair
a) Close up inspection by engineers

b) Pre-stressing steels or bars are exposed for assessment

c) Steel bars are treated with primer, a protective coating before covering up

d) Formwork is put up for the repair work

Road Structures Maintenance and Checks
LTA carries out inspection on the road structures at least once a year.
