The Land Transport Authority has awarded the contract of upgrading the junction of Jalan Ahmad Ibrahim and Jurong Pier Road to Megastone Holdings Pte Ltd.

The project will involve the widening of the slip road turning left from Jalan Ahmad Ibrahim into Jurong Pier Road from a single lane to two lanes, together with drainage works and other ancillary works.

With the improvement works, traffic flow at the junction during peak hours will be improved.

The works will commence in February 2011 and are scheduled to be completed in the second quarter of 2012.
