The Land Transport Authority had carried out the road improvement works at the junction of Tampines Avenue 7, Tampines Street 34 and Tampines Street 45 since early May 2010.

The improvement works which involved the construction of new slip roads at Tampines Street 34 and Tampines Street 45 into Tampines Avenue 7, drain works, and other associated works were completed. The road was fully opened to traffic on 30 September 2010.
