UPGRADING OF THE JUNCTION OF WEST COAST HIGHWAY AND CLEMENTI ROAD
The Land Transport Authority has completed the upgrading of junction at West Coast Highway and Clementi Road.
The $57.5 million contract awarded to Samwoh Corporation Pte Ltd started in the first quarter of 2009. It involved upgrading the junction at West Coast Highway and Clementi Road and construction of a flyover.
With the opening of new flyover on 3 July 2011, motorists heading towards the city or Jurong Town Hall Road will bypass the junction and can expect a smoother drive.
Additionally, two new sheltered pedestrian overhead bridges with ramps and covered linkways across West Coast Highway connecting to bus stops have also been opened
for use.
