TrafficScan is an advanced transport system that enables updated travel information on roads to be provided to motorists.

Taxis are equipped with the Global Positioning System (GPS) that gives information on their locations and speeds as they ply along roads. The data collected is processed to give average traffic speeds along these roads.

Together with the other intelligent transport systems such as EMAS and GLIDE, TrafficScan provides travel information that can be found on the ONE.MOTORING portal.

TrafficScan provides motorists with travel information on arterial roads so that they can plan their route for a smoother journey.
