Managing Construction Traffic in the Marina Bay Area
Can you imagine what happens when 5000 truck-trips are made per day when major development works start? Not to worry, LTA has initiated a Inter-Agency Task Force to facilitate co-ordination among the agencies to manage construction traffic.
Diversion of Utilities Prior to Downtown Extension Construction
To better coordinate the utilities diversions, LTA will construct a 500m long Common Utility Trench along Pickering Street and Church Street. Works will start in October 2006 and be completed in about a year.
Reconstruction of Vehicular Bridge at ECP across Siglap Canal
To facilitate the final stages of reconstruction, a short stretch of the ECP across the Siglap Canal will be temporarily realigned until the first quarter of 2007. Drive with care.
