The revised rates apply from Saturday, 15 November 2008 to Wednesday, 31 December 2008. The ERP rates will revert to
the pre-school holiday period from 2 January 2009 onwards.
 
The Land Transport Authority (LTA) and NETS joint investigations have pointed to about 2,900 NETS CashCards as the cause of compatibility problems when used in the In-Vehicle Unit (IU).
 
Three normal bus lanes were implemented at locations along Commonwealth Avenue, Commonwealth Avenue West and Queensway on 17 November 2008.
 
The Land Transport Authority is building 31 new motorcycle rain shelters under vehicular flyovers along expressways island-wide, doubling the total number from the current 29 to 60.
 
In conjunction with the December school holidays, the Vehicle
Entry Permit (VEP) operating hours will end earlier at 12 noon
on weekdays, from 17 November to 31 December 2008.
 
 
With the award of the six contracts, LTA has since awarded contracts with a total value of $3.1 billion for the construction of
the Marina Coastal Expressway (MCE). Works for the MCE are expected to commence in the first quarter of 2009 and
