The traffic direction along stretches of Clive Street, Kampong Kapor Road and Verdun Road is reversed with effect from
13 May 2009.

The reversal of traffic flow along these selected stretches will improve traffic flow in the Little India area, as vehicular traffic will
be able to use this new thoroughfare to travel from Sungei Road
to Kitchener Road.
 
 
The construction of a two-lane road to Pasir Ris Central, in front
of White Sands Shopping Centre, was completed and opened
on 3 May 2009.

The road improvement works is expected to relieve congestion during peak hours and on weekends along Pasir Ris Central Street 3. With the completion of the road improvement works,
the existing two-way traffic at Pasir Ris Central Street 3 will be converted to a one-way road.
