Elderly pedestrians can expect to cross with greater ease with longer green man time given to them when they make use of selected signalised pedestrian crossings from 1 October 2009.

The works involve the widening of the existing slip road from Tampines Street 32 to Tampines Avenue 2 from a single-lane
road to a two-lane road, improvement to the existing bus bay at Tampines Avenue 2, drain works and other associated works.
