The signalised pedestrian crossing at Jurong West Central 3 outside the new Boon Lay Bus Interchange to a signalised
T-junction has been modified since Sunday, 27 December 2009.
 
 
From Friday, 25 December 2009, the Mandatory Give Way to Buses Scheme will be extended progressively to 15 bus bays along Pasir Ris Drive 1, Canberra Road and Woodlands
Avenue 5. With this extension, the scheme will now be implemented at 41 bus-bays island wide.
 
 
The traffic signals at the junction of Yuan Ching Road and Yung
Ho Road have been modified since Wednesday, 23 December 2009.

The traffic light signals for the former Tang Dynasty approach will be decommissioned. The right-turn arrow for traffic turning right from Yuan Ching Road to the former Tang Dynasty will also be removed. This is to cater to the existing traffic demands at the junction and improve traffic flow during peak hours.
 
 
Works to install a set of Red-Amber-Green (RAG) traffic signals have commenced at the junction of Bishan Road, Bishan Street
14 and Bishan Street 22 since Tuesday, 22 December 2009.

The RAG traffic signals is installed to control right turning movement from Bishan Road into Bishan Street 22, so as to further enhance road safety at this junction.
 
 
To facilitate the construction of Downtown Line Stage 2, the
current Electronic Road Pricing (ERP) gantry at Upper Bukit
Timah Road near Hume Avenue will be relocated about 150 metres further down the road. The relocation is necessary to facilitate construction of the Downtown Line tunnel along Upper
Bukit Timah.
 
 
4,016 bids have been received at the end of the December
second open bidding exercise for Certificates of Entitlement (COEs). Of these, 2,898 were successful.
 
 
Bidding for car registration numbers 1 to 9999 in the SJW series have started since the 26 December 2009 (Saturday) and will end at 12 noon on 02 January 2010 (Saturday). Interested members
of the public are invited to submit their bids.
