LTA has completed its quarterly review of traffic conditions on Electronic Road Pricing (ERP)-priced roads and expressways,
and will be revising the ERP rates at the following gantries:

The stretch of ECP (AYE) near Marina South has been diverted,
to facilitate Downtown Line 1 construction works since Friday, 22 January 2010.
 
 
Traffic signals were commissioned at the junction of Commonwealth Avenue West and Vista Exchange Green since Friday, 22 January 2010.

The traffic signals at the T-junction of Vista Exchange Green were also commissioned on the same day.
 
 
Part-time traffic signals have been commissioned along Lower Delta Road near Cendex Centre since Wednesday, 13 January 2010. The part-time traffic signals will operate from 6pm to 7pm
on Mondays to Fridays except public holidays.
 
 
The weekly bidding exercise for vehicle registration numbers will not be held for the period 13 to 16 February 2010 as it coincides with the Lunar New Year public holidays on 15 and 16 February 2010. Weekly bidding for vehicle registration numbers will
resume on 20 February 2010.
 
 
LTA received 4,931 bids at the end of the January second open bidding exercise for Certificates of Entitlement (COEs). Of these, 2,996 were successful.
 
 
Road improvement works will be carried out at the junction of Yio Chu Kang Road and Buangkok Green. This improvement
project will include the widening of the existing carriageways, construction of additional right-turning lanes and other
associated works.

Works will be commencing soon and are expected to be completed by the third quarter of 2010.
 
 
The slip road from SLE to BKE (PIE) will be widened from the existing one lane to two lanes. The project also includes the widening of connecting carriageway, construction of drains, culverts and other ancillary works.

Works will be commencing soon and are scheduled to be completed by the last quarter of 2011.
 
 
To improve overall connectivity in the road system, a series of
road projects are set to be completed in 2010. Amongst them is the Bartley Viaduct, which recently opened to traffic on 17 January 2010.

With upcoming developments such as Marina Bay Sands Integrated Resort (MBSIR) and the Marina Bay Financial Centre (MBFC) in the new downtown Marina Bay area, a new road
network will be built progressively to serve the area and the
Central Business District (CBD) cordon will be adjusted to
include these developments.
