Certificate of Entitlement (COE) Quota for August 2010 to January 2011
The Certificate of Entitlement (COE) quota will be lowered to 23,063 for the period August 2010 to January 2011, giving a monthly quota of 3,844.

The COE quota consists of the following components:
  • Provision for 1.5% vehicle growth based on the vehicle population as at 31 December 2009;
  • Replacement COEs for vehicles de-registered between January and June 2010; and
  • Adjustment for over-estimations of vehicle de-registration in 2008/2009.

LTA and Traffic Police Intensify Enforcement against Errant Lorry Drivers
LTA and Traffic Police officers are stepping up their enforcement efforts against drivers who flout safety rules such as exceeding the Maximum Passenger Capacity (MPC), breaching of the maximum allowable height (1.1 metres) of a seated passenger on the carriage deck, and failure to display the MPC label.

The LTA is also reviewing the need to bring forward the implementation of the enhanced safety measures which was originally set to be implemented by September 2012.

Members of the public are encouraged to call LTA's hotline at 1800-CALL LTA (1800-2255 582) to report any instances of non-compliance spotted on the road.
Partial 2-way Traffic Scheme along Woodlands Drive 75
A partial 2-way traffic scheme has been implemented along Woodlands Drive 75, allowing for 2-way traffic movements from the junction of Woodlands View and Woodlands Drive 75.

Arrow markings and temporary information signs have been put in place to guide motorists.
