Location Map for Sentosa Gateway Tunnel

The Sentosa Gateway Tunnel, is a one-way road tunnel that connects outbound traffic from Sentosa Island directly to Lower Delta Road and Keppel Road.

As the Sentosa Gateway Tunnel had to be constructed close to the North East Line MRT tunnels and the West Coast Highway viaduct foundations, it was designed with a height constraint of 3.5m. In view of the height constraint, and for fire safety reasons, only cars and motorcycles* are permitted to use the Sentosa Gateway Tunnel.

Buses, lorries and all goods vehicles (including pickups & vans) are prohibited from entering the tunnel.  These vehicles can continue to use the existing at-grade roads towards Telok Blangah Road to reach their destinations.

Motorists are advised to plan their routes in advance and follow the traffic signs within and outside of the tunnel to help them navigate to their destinations.

*Motorcycles are restricted from entering Sentosa as per Sentosa Development Corporation’s policy. Exceptions are made for authorised courier services as well as residents, who are permitted to travel only between their residence and the mainland.
