Parking your laid-up vehicle

A laid-up vehicle must be parked at the address you declared in your application. The laid-up vehicle cannot be used or kept on a public road or place.

If the declared address is a private property or commercial building, you need to get an approval letter from the property owner or relevant authority for your vehicle to be parked there for the entire lay-up period.

Park your laid-up vehicle at the declared parking area at all times and do not drive the vehicle during the lay-up period. Otherwise, your vehicle’s lay-up status will be revoked and you will need to pay road tax from its last expiry date.
